ROME

Rome trip begun and ended in a week. A week's time pass very fast and i'm back in UK again. Rome is a beautiful place to visit with lots of historical buildings and monuments to view. Too many places to visit... Luckily a week's time there is sufficient and we still have some allowance for some "rest and relax" in between days and not forgetting some shopping time to spare.

Most fulfiling trip was to the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel that allowed me to view the famous Michealangilo's Last Judgement and mural painting.GRAND is the word to describe. A "un-describable" feeling to be in the Sistine Chapel. The Chapel close at noon so we had only a very short time to roam around inside the Museum and Chapel. Still, it was great!

Sculpture by Michelangelo in St Peter's Church.

Vatican Museum
The Egyptians were in Rome before the Romans settled in. Mummies are everywhere the Musuem! This is just one of the insignificant one that i wonder why i took a picture with it?!

Sculptures and fantastic art work left behind by the old Roman artists. Wonderful! An art city!

Lovely ceiling and mural paintings everywhere at each corner of the Museum and Chapel.

I love this!!

And this!!

Sistine Chapel
The famous Chapel that Michelangelo coloured with his painting. The mural paintings are lovely and one might wonder how did he paint the whole Chapel by himself?? No photos are allowed in the Chapel. There is only one snapshot of the Chapel ceiling that i took secretly when the guards are not watching. Hee...

The Trevi Fountain
A famous fountain that has amazing sculpting work. I love the Trevi Fountain!

Other famous attractions in Rome includes...
The River!
This isn't a world-famous attraction, but i think the river is beautiful... especially walking along the river when the weather is nice and cooling. Relax and peaceful feeling. We came across this couple having a picnic along the river. How romantic it is to have their red wine and sit along the river for a simple fare!

The river at night is lovely too, isn't it?

Looking across St Angelo's Church - the place that Music and Dance rules in the old days.

Colosseum and the historical remains left by the Romans.

The Liberty Place

The above is a snapshot of my Rome trip. Much more photos are taken but it's impossible to upload all of them! Rome is a lovely city immersed in Art. I wished i was borned there and i'm sure what i am doing now will be totally different! On top of all the famous attractions, i had a chance to visit an Art Gallery there. A nice experience that i won't get it back home! An experience of the 14th and 15th century arts.

It was a fun yet very tiring trip. Still, it was a fruitful one! One reget was a missed opportunity to travel to Milan to view the Last Supper by Da-Vinci. To console myself and make a compensation for it, i bought myself a Da-Vinci's calendar with all his famous painting, and of course with the Last Supper in it...

Now that the trip is over, it's time for me to replenish my energy. A long long rest a needed badly to cure my aching legs...

Merry Christmas folks and hope everyone will have a wonderful year ahead!

Fin Econs test result

Great efficiency is evident in uk for the first time. In 3 days time, i got back my test paper for the Monday's Fin Econs test. Well, the test mark (38 over 50) wasn't fantastic; but the happy news is that i was the highest in the class of 80plus people. I should be happy of course with this, but i was a bit angry with myself for making some stupid and careless mistakes of the obvious.

I sold my Lincoln tickets. Decided not to go for the Xmas market as it will be too cold on Sat (estimated temperature is 2 degrees celcius). But other plans are made. Decided to join the gym membership here and i'll be starting my first gym session tmr together with Yoga and Spin classes. Have decided to keep a healthy lifestyle here! Haha and most importantly to keep myself slim slim.. Hee..

Good luck for my first gym session with an ang moh personal trainer! Haaa...
