CNY
CNY is here and over. Full 15 days and I've just spent the last day back in Notts sleeping over my jetlag.
Didn't get to see much friends this time when back. Probably it's new year and everyone is busy, and probably everyone is busy with their work and life, and probably I just want to spend more time with family? All sorts of reasons I can think of but I'm glad I spend some time with my mum and dad. Though I didn't get to acc my mum shopping and do more stuff with her.
Life in SG seems to be different. The people, the things we do, the way we behave, the streets, the pace people walk pass you, everything. Maybe I'm getting too demanding and picky.
Life in Msia seems to be even more different. I can't imagine I've once lived and worked there. I'm glad I didn't make the choice to return. The life, the people you hang around with, the family, the faces and smiles, the gossips and chatters, the social events.
Probably this is just CNY. A yearly event.
Now back to my little quiet place, work has to begin right away. Only a day to overcome the jetlag. Teaching and meeting starts this week. And marking next. More work to be due soon.
Back to my quiet little place doing my work quietly on my own now.
